Sarah is certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine(NASM) and is currently pursuing a degree in Exercise Science with plans to afterwords obtain a doctoral degree in physical therapy. Sarah specializes in strength and endurance training with a background in power-lifting and competitive CrossFit, but overall hopes to share her passion for fitness and health here at The Bend Downtown Athletic Club by helping others achieve their own personal fitness goals through specific sustainable exercise and a focus on finding workouts that each client will continue to maintain. She feels that to find success within any sort of fitness program it is essential that there must be an element of enjoyment, whether that be found through weight training with barbells and dumbbells or circuit training with bands and body weight to anything in-between, making the effort to find just the right regimen is crucial.
When Sarah isn’t at the gym she can typically be found finding excuses to not stay indoors and looking for new places to explore outside with her American Akita, named Kenai.
